Warranty & Damaged Product Policy
Learn how Adventure Supplier handles damaged-on-arrival products, defects, manufacturer warranties, replacement parts and product-support claims.
Scope of This Policy
This policy explains Adventure Supplier’s general procedures for products that arrive damaged, appear defective or may qualify for warranty support.
It applies to eligible purchases made through AdventureSupplier.com unless different terms are expressly provided for a particular product, manufacturer, bulk order or commercial transaction.
This policy should be read together with our Refund & Return Policy and Terms & Conditions.
Manufacturer Warranties
Certain products sold through Adventure Supplier may include a warranty provided by the product manufacturer.
Manufacturer warranty coverage can vary by product and may specify:
- Duration of warranty coverage.
- Components covered by the warranty.
- Defects or failures that qualify.
- Required proof of purchase.
- Repair or replacement procedures.
- Warranty exclusions.
- Geographic limitations.
- Whether the manufacturer handles claims directly.
Adventure Supplier Warranty Support
Where a product includes manufacturer warranty coverage, Adventure Supplier may help customers identify available warranty information or appropriate claim procedures.
Where the manufacturer is responsible for administering the warranty, final warranty approval, repair, replacement or other remedy may be determined by the applicable manufacturer under its warranty terms.
Products Damaged on Arrival
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If a product arrives visibly damaged, broken, incomplete or otherwise affected during transportation, contact Adventure Supplier promptly.
When reporting delivery damage, please keep:
- The product.
- Original shipping packaging.
- Internal protective packaging.
- Product labels.
- Shipping labels.
- Included accessories and components.
Do not dispose of damaged packaging before your claim has been reviewed, as the carrier, supplier or manufacturer may require photographs or other information relating to the shipment.
Defective Products
A product may be considered potentially defective where it fails to operate or perform as reasonably expected under normal intended use.
If you believe a product is defective, contact us with a clear description of the problem.
Depending on the product and circumstances, troubleshooting may be required before a defect can be confirmed.
We may ask you to perform reasonable diagnostic steps, provide photographs or video, identify the product model or serial number, or provide other information relevant to the reported issue.
Evidence Required for a Claim
Providing complete information can help us, the manufacturer, supplier or shipping provider review a claim more efficiently.
Depending on the nature of the problem, we may request:
- Adventure Supplier order number.
- Customer name and email associated with the order.
- Product name or model.
- Description of the reported problem.
- Clear photographs of the product.
- Photographs showing visible damage or defects.
- Photographs of packaging and shipping labels.
- Video demonstrating a functional problem where appropriate.
- Product serial number where applicable.
- Other reasonable information needed to evaluate the claim.
Claim Review
Once sufficient information has been received, the claim may be reviewed by Adventure Supplier, the applicable manufacturer, supplier, shipping provider or another relevant party.
The appropriate solution depends on the product, nature of the problem, warranty terms, availability of parts and applicable law.
Possible outcomes may include:
- Troubleshooting assistance.
- Replacement part.
- Product repair where applicable.
- Replacement product.
- Refund where appropriate.
- Referral to the manufacturer warranty process.
- Another reasonable resolution.
Replacement Products
Where replacement is approved, the same product may be provided if reasonably available.
If the original product is unavailable, available alternatives may be discussed where appropriate.
Replacement availability can depend on inventory, supplier availability, product discontinuation and applicable warranty terms.
A replacement does not automatically create a new warranty period unless the applicable warranty terms or law provide otherwise.
Replacement Parts
Some outdoor products contain individual parts or accessories that can be replaced without replacing the entire product.
Where appropriate and available, a replacement part may be offered as a practical solution.
Examples can include:
- Buckles and clips.
- Straps.
- Poles or pole sections.
- Caps or covers.
- Connectors.
- Fasteners.
- Product-specific accessories.
- Other replaceable components.
Availability of replacement parts depends on the product, manufacturer and supplier inventory.
Returning a Product for Inspection
In some cases, a product may need to be returned before a claim can be fully evaluated or completed.
Please do not ship a product back unless Adventure Supplier or the applicable warranty provider has supplied return instructions.
Unauthorized returns may delay claim processing.
Warranty Exclusions
Unless applicable warranty terms or law provide otherwise, warranty coverage generally may not apply to damage caused by circumstances outside the covered product defect.
Depending on the product and applicable warranty, exclusions may include:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Cosmetic wear that does not affect intended function.
- Misuse or abuse.
- Accidents after delivery.
- Improper storage.
- Failure to follow product instructions.
- Use outside the product’s intended purpose.
- Damage caused by unauthorized modification.
- Damage caused by improper installation or assembly.
- Exposure beyond stated weather, temperature, weight or environmental limits.
- Consumable components that have reached the end of their normal service life.
- Loss or theft.
Outdoor Equipment & Intended Use
Outdoor equipment can be exposed to demanding conditions including weather, moisture, impact, temperature changes and physical load.
Customers should review manufacturer instructions, warnings, specifications and product limits before use.
Products should not be used beyond their stated capacity, environmental rating or intended purpose.
Normal deterioration resulting from ordinary outdoor use is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.
Improper Modification or Repair Damage
Customers should use appropriate care when maintaining, repairing or modifying products.
A warranty claim may not cover damage that is demonstrated to have been caused by an improper modification, incompatible component, incorrect repair or other action unrelated to the original defect.
This provision is not intended to remove any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be restricted.
Accessories & Consumable Components
Certain accessories and consumable components naturally wear during normal use.
Examples can include batteries, disposable items, filters, coatings, straps, tips or other components designed to be replaced periodically.
Coverage for these components depends on the applicable product warranty and the nature of the reported defect.
Bulk & Wholesale Orders
Bulk, wholesale and commercial transactions may include product-specific warranty or inspection terms.
These terms may be stated in a quotation, invoice, purchase order, supply agreement or other written transaction documentation.
Commercial buyers should inspect bulk shipments promptly and report visible shortages, transportation damage or other issues according to the applicable transaction terms.
Refunds & Returns
A warranty claim and a standard return request are not necessarily the same process.
Customers wishing to return an otherwise eligible product should review our Refund & Return Policy.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive consumer warranty rights, implied warranties or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Where mandatory legal protections provide customers with greater rights than this policy, those protections will apply.
Policy Updates
Adventure Supplier may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in products, suppliers, manufacturer warranty procedures, operating practices or applicable requirements.
The latest version will be published on AdventureSupplier.com with an updated date.
